Unifi Port 8080 Is Used By Other Programs Startup Failed Due
So I've followed instructions on how to move our UniFi Controller installation from these posts: and. I've followed them to the letter, but when I go to launch UniFi it hangs for about a minute, then fails with the error: 'Port 8080 is already in use by another program' or sometimes 'Server taking too long to start.Start-up failed.' The challenge that I am facing is how to manage the Unifi controller pc which will be on the inside of my network. I do not want to make any chnage to teh firewall. All advice is greatly appreciated.ThanksHKF. I had never heard of them until you posted them. That's pretty slick. Obviously you won't be able to go too deep for a lot of things, but for basic config stuff, that's pretty awesome.I agree, I am doing some tests. The interface is very intuitive but they are supporting the basic features for now. In some places it might be good to change passwords to multiple APs and see AP state or monitoring.I am surprised that they haven't implemented Radius yet. That would be nice to have.Anyone tested reliability?
However, using simply brings up the admin page of the Home Hub. Despite the HH telling me the port is forwarded correctly, the port as -'Error:I could not see your service on nn.nn.nn.nn on port (8080).Reason:Connection refused' My HH firewall is set to 'Default' (Allow all outgoing connections and block all incoming traffic. Games and application sharing is allowed.), but I have tried disabling it and this made no difference at all.
When i close the controller and start it again no problems occur until like 2 hours later. When the error occurs i can enter the controller remotely, i just cant add another ap to it. Anyone has experience with this and/or knows how to solve this issue? Thanks in advance Second attachment is netstat result on port 6060 Attachments.
Google searches and the support on the Ubiquiti website have not provided what I need to solve the problem. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Were getting ready to install a Unifi sysem at a hotel that doesnt have a server onsite.
Run netstat -ano and check if you listener is listening at ExternalIP:8080 or not. Check if you have any path or such other options set on the rule, that may not match the incoming traffic. Regards, Amit Saxena (Microsoft).
So, I am at a loss! Can anyone throw some ideas out there? Or, could it be that this is the error message one would get if there was no Uni-FI device plugged into the network yet? Many thanks in advance for the info and assistance! JAX-WS included with Java 6 provides a built in HTTP server giving the ability to host web services without running a Java EE server.
The only complaint I have is that the Unifi router sometimes does not log people in. That's when I reboot the Unifi router and it works flawlessly, again. Also, some guest could not log in to the network, even though they put in the correct password. I'd simply start the Unifi Controller and manually authorize them. The system seems to be working fine for it's first year. No complaints about the radios, just had the above issues with the router. I'm using Oracle 10g XE on Windows Server 2003, the installation was successfully realized.
I really need this installed again today. Thanks in advance!!! Hello, I had the same trouble. If you do not need the JVM from Oracle (the database does not needs it), the best way is to execute in SQL Plus Worksheet the script in the file rmjvm.sql. This script depends on more script, so the simplest way is to copy into ORA_HOME/ora90/BIN all scripts from ORA_HOME/ora90/javavm/install. Execute rmjvm.sql and that's it.
It works one day the next stops. When I try to RDP from work to my foreward IP it fails. But if I try from within the firewall LAN it works, and THEN it starts to work from my RDP session at work. Anyone encounter the same thing? I just bought this router 2 days ago. I did notice in the 'Basic settings' area that port 8080 is used for 'Remote Management' but neither the option 'Enable' nor the option 'Disable is selected. Should I disable it?
First of all I presume you are upgrading to 2.3.3 rather than 1.3.3?If the old SSID comes up breifly then I would look at 2 things.1. Does the AP have internet access on the LAN? The SSID will disappear (unless you've changed the setting already) when the AP can not see the Gateway/Internet connection.
They take care of HTTP traffic that uses non-standard ports. HTTPS is a special case. Free patterns - download free patterns. So what you do is essentially create a port 80 rule (although it technically is a URL rule) / port 443 rule pair?
To start this server you will need to stop the other process or change the port number(s). I tried to allow the program through firewall by creating exception and other stuff tooo. But the problem still persists can any one help me out in this regard. Hi all i am trying to configure tomcat to eclipse. I downloaded and installed tomcat 5.5 version and so when i try to open i m not able to do that. And also when i try to run eclipse and try to start tomcat in that i get the error message as: Several ports (8005, 8080, 8009) required by Tomcat v5.5 Server at localhost are already in use.
How can I configure my jboss tomcat acts as the web server? Any help appreciated. Hey, got a question here about configuring load balancing to backend SSL servers. Basically there are two backend servers, if a user hit ine we want them to stick to that server for their session, but we want connections comin in to be load balanced between the two servers. HTTP traffic works fine, it balances between the servers and if one server is down, the traffic goes to the other. With the SSL traffic though, the traffic only goes to one server, if that server is down, it nevers goes to the other one. I pasted the config below, any help would be great.
I added all the firewall ports but it still didn't work. Long story short, I had to open UDP port 10001 for device discovery to work. I didn't see it in any of the documentation, found it using a port sniffer while the firewall was disabled. Here are the PowerShell commands to open all the firewall ports in Windows.
When I tried to do a manual upgrade from SSH I had DNS resolution issues even though the AP's are connected to the controller? I dont get it! Or whatever you set the http port to in system.properties, as that can be customized. THISpost may be of interest to you. I may suggest using the IP unitl they are updated. As the implementation in some of the earlier firmwares is known to cause issues and was removed in 3.1.6. In my company there are 15 UniFI AP configured and managed by a controller, with an SSID, but 10 in use, and 5 as backup.
Funny thing, the controller web page continues to function like nothing happened. If I manually shutdown the controller and start it again, I get a successful startup. Hi, We have a 3.1.4 controller running in our DC with two UAP's connected. DNS record unifi point to the controller, Now we have purchased 8 new AP's and they can't join the controller. Connectivity is fine.

After throwing these error messages the cluster software failes over to the other node and changes the status to offline after several attempts. I tried starting the instance manually and it worked fine. Please let me know if I am missing something.
A workaround is to edit the.network file in /etc/systemd/network/, adding IPForward=kernel on the Docker host: /etc/systemd/network/.network [Network]. This configuration allows IP forwarding from the container as expected.
I have even been able to upgrade the firmware via SSH. So I can upgrade by downloading the firmware from the management controller using the FQDN over port 8080. I use syswrapper.sh upgrade FQDN:8080/dl/firmware/BZ2/2.2.5.1080/firmware.binThat works fine, but then I change the inform URL, I wait ages and the AP never appears in the list of pending devices.Any ideas? Hi there, I have a new UniFi deployment to do where L3 connectivity will be required between the UAPs and the UniFi controller software.
PORT HELP Can somone confirm the ports? I found two different lists #1 (i grabbed this from the AWS knowledge based thinking it would be correct) TCP 8080TCP 8443TCP 8880TCP 8843TCP 22UDP 3478 OR #2 (default ports that unifi uses from knowledge base) • unifi.shutdown.port=8081 (for management purpose)• unifi.http.port=8080 (device inform)• unifi.https.port=8443 (controller UI / API)• portal.http.port=8880 (portal redirect port for HTTP)• portal.https.port=8843 (portal redirect port for HTTPs)• unifi.db.port=27117 (local-bound port for DB server)And UDP port 3478. Hi Everybody,I have installed Jboss-3.0.3_Tomcat-4.1.12. The Jboss is running but when I type in the browser it gives me the following error.'
I want tomcat to be my webserever and jboss to be the app server. I may be wrong but is there any setting for this? I mean is port 8080 being used for some other service by jboss.
After I modified resin.conf and restart resin, it gave me the following error message and failed to start: http can't bind to *:80. Check for conflicting servers. But I think there is not any other server listening on port 80, because I disenabled httpd in /etc/inetd.conf. Maybe it is caused by the privilege. I installed resin by user 'resin', not the root user. How can I make resin listen on port 80? I am using generic Data Services to manage JBoss instance under Sun Cluster.
Hello all - (newbie here) is there a NON-WIRELESS router that has eight+ ports and 'port redirect'? I cannot tell if there is a standard name for 'port redirect' but what i am looking for is a port that can take a request from [for example] port 280 and redirect it to port 8080 for device 192.168.0.100 and then take port 281 and redirect it to port 8080 on device 192.168.0.101. In other words, device 0.100 and 0.101 both answer to 8080 but 100 takes requests from port 280 and 101 takes requests from port 281.
