Obviously I knew how to solve this but it was the hassle that upset me. New computers and laptops are full of trial software and cool features that hog cpu resources. One of the main offenders was the Fast Access was facial recognition software. This cool feature was scanning my face to see if it recognized me so it could log me in without typing a password in. Well besides not actually recognizing anyone, it slowed the computer down to the extent of me saying, “why bother?” Why have this feature in the first place? I've disabled the above services and all is fine but I'm wary of disabling the drivers since I decided to keep the Dell Touchpad driver.

Have unchecked FAService under System Configuration > Services (it is stopped) Have disabled FATrayMon under Task Manager>Staetup Everytime I restart the computer or lock it, when I try to login the FastAccess/Face Recognition Icon is in the middle of the screen with a check box. I also tried deleting the entire Sensible Solutions folder but get a message that it's open in another window. Not only that, but I had gone in and CHANGED (not created a new one - changed) my Log On email but now, BOTH come up - however, the system always tells me the username or password are incorrect on the old one because it does not exist anywhere but on that start up screen. I can click and log in to the correct one with no problems but can't delete that old one. How do I manually unistall something I can't find? I want all traces of Fast Access gone and for it to never return.

It's NOT in my list of programs to be able to uninstall now so it 'appears' as if it's gone but it is still there on the start up screen. Therefore, all the instructions on how to Unistall and Unistall the Config files are invalid if there is no Fast Access to click on the Program Files. I can find it under I have tried uninstalling Facial Recognition directly but it tells me I have to have the original Install Disc - as if any computer comes with such anymore. I even followed previously found instructions to delete the 'hidden' program file under Digital Delivery. Fast Access STILL comes up on start up.

After disabling the facial recognition app (Fast Access), the Windows 10 OS would not start correctly and would just show a blank green screen (with only three functional buttons on the lower corner - 'connect to Internet, ease of use, and shut down') on my 2014 Dell Inspiron 17 (5000 series). There was no log on screen of any sort, and the Windows Startup button was also unresponsive; therefore, I was not able to use the laptop at all! This despite restarting and shutting down completely several times.

I have also seen a few comments that the software slows down performance, well mine has not been slowed down in any way, I may even say that it works perfectly as described. These type of companies (Sensible Vision) who care about their customers should be patronized. The bottom line is, would I want to buy another Dell – Not quite (after some 12 years of loyalty to Dell).

Then I turned it back on and 'started windows normally'. It then allowed me to get past the FastAccess screen and go to the normal desktop. I then completely removed FastAccess. No problems since then. But there has been no response from Windows, Dell, or the FastAccess programmers about this issue. I have requested some feedback, but nobody has responded.

I was then told he cannot help any further because he has not been trained in this operating system. Efficiency and speed were keys to its success from the beginning. In the extremely rare instance when I have noted a system performance effect, it’s often been traced back to the camera driver (which is in use at the same time as FastAccess of course), not FastAccess itself.

How can this issue be fixed? I would try enabling FastAccess and get it working properly. Then try to uninstall the software and disable it in Device Manager.

Just received a new Dell 64bit Laptop with 8.1 Windows Software. Upgraded to Windows 10 Home. Tried FastAccess Facial Recognition to log on to my account. Didn't like the feature.

I did not ask for it or pay for it so I don't want the demo either and don't want my computer to keep asking me to set it up and get started!! Apparently nobody who works for FastAccess or Dell knows how to keep it from coming back.
